Snow Inventory Client is a multi-platform audit solution designed to find devices, audit software installs, and track usage. The client program must be installed in the systems that need to be monitored. It is extremely flexible and can be deployed either as a Windows service on the machine or executed without any deployment.
Deploying the client will give you full functionality and data will be sent to the server as soon as the computer is connected to the internet regardless of domain or network structure. Deploying the service will also give the administrator the possibility to execute and initiate tasks locally on each computer.
